Bench Marks are set too high for International performances by King United

India is following western culture blindly and so we let Hip-Hop enter our lives. Kings United India is a team that performs on international platforms. The group is from Vasai, a small city in Maharashtra. They became the first Indian group to win the World Hip Hop Dance Championship in California.

Here is not just information about team members and their success but I am writing my opinion about it. Even after getting recognition worldwide, no one knows them. Their performance was marked on the heights and became the new rules of Hip Hop around the globe. The reason they are lacking is their lack of relations from Bollywood. 15 members of King United are artists and perform top rated stunts.

Yet, they are fighting to make a mark on people’s life. We have been talking about nepotism just like we boycotted movie Sadak 2 becoming the most disliked video on YouTube. There are people in every field blocking ways other to reach success.

Let’s talk about an example: ABCD was a movie created by Remo D’Souza to make people aware of the dance and how there are people out there passionate about dance. To make people feel that dance is not just something people do for happiness it is an art that is worshiped by many people.

Two years later Remo came up with the second part of the film where lead actors were not those who worship dance but are great actors with huge fan bases. Where ABCD collected Rs78 crore with true dances. ABCD 2 earns Rs 165 crore with actors who keep true actors behind them.

The main reason the movie was created was to make people learn about dance. Tell how art can change a life, how passion can make you win over everything. So, people who love to dance should never give even after you don’t have resources. The message was later used as a way to earn money.

ABCD 2 is a documentary based on the hardship of dancers from SVG. The Group traveled to Las Vegas in 2012 for the World Hip Hop Dance Championship. They are the first-ever group from India to reach the finals. The team was formed by Suresh Mukund and Vernon Monteiro. After the release, the two main members of group Suresh and Vernon created their own differences.

This made SureshMukund form his own team to work even harder and move forward to win what they lost the last time.

Beginning of a new journey

In 2015, Mukund formed up a new team and went to San Diego to re-enter the World Hip Hop Dance Championship. This time they were not just a bunch of Indians who reached the heights but this time they came back with Gold medals.

Kings United made a benchmark when they went to the World Hip Hop Dance Championship, and won first prize soon after that they opened up their dance academy. They earned $1 million.

Suresh Mukund who is the director, choreographer of an internationally renowned group still wishes to be a film director. The reason behind his dream is that even after he did everything, he did he received very low recognition from our media, and barely a few know him.

Suresh has a lot to achieve. They finally received their recognition from the show World of Dance. They not only won the finale but also scored 100 out of 100. There is stopping in their life now. They are doing dance workshops on their world tour. They have planned to perform with Jennifer Lopez.

Mukund said the crew will not perform in any more competition. King United received $1 million from the show out of which 80 percent will be divided amongst crew. The crew, consisting of Ritesh Vishwakarma, Karthik Priyadarshan, Shijin Ramesh, Chandan Acharya, Sunny Chatterjee, Mohan Pandey, Charles Edward, Pratik Gojare, Prem Bhawar, Pavan Rao, Raja Das, Hardik Rawat, Akshay Varavdekar, Hritik Gupta and Naidu Vishwakarma.

There are a number of groups with potential who lack resources. With social media coming to our doorsteps and making it easy for us to watch them. Our support in small ways can make a huge difference in their lives. News media and platforms with high demand don’t want to show people with less popular as they know the news will not make them earn.

As people of this generation, we are responsible to make things write. With the help of new media, we can grow a lot and can make our nation proud. Here is a link to their final performance at World of Dance.
