On the demise of the super talented actor, super knowledgeable person, a bright-minded boy, and an exceptionally analytical and understanding Sushant Singh Rajput, everyone around is shocked and is in full of pain and grief. Sushant hanged himself on 14th June, Sunday at his residence in Mumbai as per the post-mortem reports by Mumbai police.
Sushant was a television & film actor and dancer. According to Rajput, he started with nothing. He ranked 7th in the DCE entrance exam in 2003 and secured admission in Delhi college of engineering. In his college days, he found his interest in dance where he joined Shiamak dance classes and started theatre. As a most pampered child of his house, he never had many friends and don’t talk much in public. So, finally, he got a way to express himself through his dance and his act. Here he took the life-changing decision. He dropped engineering and devoted completely towards acting and dancing. He got his first break in Television by Balaji Telefilms in ‘Kis Desh Mein hai meraa dil’. Then he got popularity by the show ‘Pavitra Rishta’ on Star Plus. His work got wide recognition and appreciation and a special place in each one’s heart. At the peak of the TV industry, he again took a risky decision. He decided to quit Pavitra Rishta and want to work in filmmaking. After 6 months Rajput got an offer for a film Ki Po Che.
In 2013 Sushant debut film in Bollywood. Then he gave movies like Shudh Desi Romance, P.K, Sonchiraiya, Byomkesh Bakshi, Raabta, drive, MS Dhoni, Chichore, Kedarnath where he worked with full devotion.
The cause behind the death of late Sushant Singh Rajput is depression. Nowadays Depression is taken very lightly but it’s very dangerous. The saddest fact is that all over the world around 264 million people are suffering from depression. Depression is the second leading cause under the age of 15-30. Every year more than 8 lakh people die due to suicide. The emptiness inside a person moves him towards depression. Name, Fame, Money, Success, or a material wealth will not help to immune through it. Constantly judging and comparing people who are depressed is one of the common reasons for suicides. Society needs to stop these practices. Why do people do that? unless helping a person making fun of it is not maturity. The biggest problem of mental health is that we can’t see; we are injured we are suffering. It's important to talk about mental health as we do with physical health.
What I am trying to convey is Sushant was so matured so intellectual and analytical. If he took any decision like suicide it must have some big reason behind it. It could be anything Nepotism in Bollywood, any personal or family problem or career-related. A person who has always conveyed the message to do not affect by people's responses, take a decision which makes you happy, why couldn’t he have given just one chance to himself. Once in an interview, he responded to the question, did he feared after taking such a big decision to quit television and pursue film? He said, ‘no, not at all, not for the once I have felt like that, I have taken a wrong decision I was confident about my decisions. What I do is just for my happiness if I feel I am not happy to do this thing and not able to give my fullest. I never do it whatever it costs. And honestly, I was so happy in that 6-month gap where I tried many things with no regrets’
We might never get solutions for our questions and the true reason behind this loss but now it's our responsibility what he just wants us to understand so, the other Sushant does not take this step just to protect himself from the nepotism society and to prove his talent and hard work again and again.
From few days whole social media is flooded with condolences and grief. Why this show off? When you have never cared before. The so-called popular industry people who never cared who Sushant was and never appreciated or given him chance are now showing their grief on social media with their heart-warming messages. Nepotism in Bollywood is so prevalent that somewhere outsiders make their place in the industry but the practices inside never appreciate these talents. They try to avoid, reject, and play games to suppress their confidence. Is it their Monopoly to run the Industry with their dirty tricks and plans? By suppressing new talents and their confidence? Are they being the murderers of many those who suicide for not getting a chance? Is it a suicide or a murder of a man, talent, and many other Sushant’s confidence who now fear to take initiative?
