India is standing with 2.15million cases of COVID-19 till 9th August 2020 and the government is claiming about a very good condition and sufficiency of government hospitals but if your actions do not prove the truth of your words, then your words are not more than lies.
Many politicians have come under fire of COVID-19 but most of them preferred private hospitals for their treatment over government hospitals. On August 2 Amit Shah tests positive for COVID-19 at that time he was in his Lutyens’s Delhi bungalow later he admitted in Medanta hospital which is a Five-star private hospital of Haryana. A team of AIIMS doctors visited Medanta hospitals but Union Minister didn’t go to a government hospital and this is the first time when AIIMS doctors visited a private hospital after 2016 on the death of Jayalalitha, it’s not only about the central government even state government is doing same.
Tamil Nadu governor Banwarilal Purohit tests positive for COVID-19 in Kauvery Hospital (private hospital), then shifted to Apollo hospital which is renowned a private hospital. Three more ministers found positive, power minister P.Thangamani- who went to Apollo, higher education minister K.P.Anbalagon and cooperation minister Sellur K.Raju- both went to a private hospital in the capital city “The Madras Institute of Orthopaedics & Traumatology”
Shivraj Singh Chauhan is the first CM of state who tested positive for COVID-19, he didn’t believe his government hospitals whereas he is on the seat of Madhya Pradesh’s CM ye he runs for Chirayu hospital (private hospital), two more ministers of Chauhan’s ministry has found positive for COVID-19 and they followed their leader’s footstep & admitted in Chirayu hospital.
After Amit shah, Karnataka CM B.S. Yeddyurappa tests positive for COVID-19 and he also followed the trend, he chooses Bengaluru’s top private facility hospital Manipal Hospital.
Punjab & Delhi:
Punjab’s rural department minister Tript Singh Bajwa runs for Fortis hospital in Mohali after his test comes out positive for novel coronavirus.
Health Minister of Delhi Satayandra Jain first went to the Rajiv Gandhi Super Speciality hospital but then he shifted himself to Max Hospital in Saket. He preferred a private hospital for his treatment of COVID-19.
Senior Congress leader of the state Chavan and PWD minister Munde both found positive for novel coronavirus and both run to private-run Breach Candy hospital in Mumbai. Their colleague in Udhav Thackeray’s cabinet, Jitendra Awhad was admitted to Fortis hospital in Mumbai’s Mulund area after he tests positive for COVID-19.
Most of the politicians and leaders are choosing private hospitals over government hospitals and shouting that government hospitals are doing good; it looks like every leader is playing in a team and fooling common peoples. Peoples should focus on an issue which really affects them- healthcare system is one of them yet people are not focusing on it, people are more focusing on other baseless issues which only fulfilling the greed of politicians and leaders.
